5 Months Tomorrow!!

I cannot believe how quickly she is growing! She is turning into the coolest baby! She has a LOT to say, she is a total snuggle bug, and she has a bit of an obsession with Bob Marley. Seriously! Here are some great pictures from the last month...

Jumperoo-a-Go-Go

This morning we caught a couple moments of Padma getting down in her Jumperoo. For some reason, the music from the Jumperoo isn't what I had in my head watching her. So, I re-cut it with the proper soundtrack.

My Little-Big Girl!

I just watched Padma roll over twice in a row from belly to back! I just started laughing hysterically. I couldn't even stop. Until I did, and then I cried. I cannot believe how quickly this is all going by. I am so happy to see her growing and healthy but I am so sad to see it happen at such an alarming rate. I don't have a video camera yet so I don't have a video of her rolling over so you'll just have to take my word for it. It was MAGIC! :)

Also, with Halloween this weekend, we got her a costume. We really wanted to get her an adorable goldfish costume I found online but by the time I went to order it, it was gone. :( So I found the next best thing. She'll be a peacock this year. Here's a picture of the costume. She makes a pretty adorable peacock!

Super Fun Time Toy!!!

We just got Padma the COOLEST new toy! It's a jumperoo and though she cannot fully appreciate its awesomeness quite yet, mostly because she is still unable to reach the floor, she is enjoying the sounds, lights, and cute lil' animals. Here are a few pics of her hanging out in her Jumperoo!

Three Months Old!!

Things are happening far too quickly. It's really making me sad! I'm enjoying every minute though. She is an incredible baby. She loves to snuggle, be read to, sung to, talked to... She just loves quality time with Mommy and Babbu... And we do too! Here are some pictures we've taken in the last few days.

So, now that the Wee book is done and I've been able to be lazy for a couple of weeks, I suppose it's time for me to get started again.

Padma's Bedroom

So we are super close to finally finishing Padma's room. All that is left to be done is the mural on the long green wall and to cut and lay the extra carpeting (from the recent installation) on her closet floor. I figured I would upload it's current state for everyone to take a peek at. Tonight will be her first night sleeping in a room separate from us and I am in panic mode. I am trying to stay calm and we have installed the video monitor but it is still going to be a long sleepless night for me. :(

10 weeks old!

Padma is doing so wonderfully. She is really such an easy baby. She only wakes once in the night, and only to feed, then she's right back to sleep. She only cries when she needs something and she is happy just to be with Dave and me otherwise. She smiles all the time now and Dave and I are constantly making fools of ourselves to get those smiles. We can't wait to hear her first giggles. When she smiles it's as if she is dying to make sounds come out to show her appreciation for our silliness.

She is two months old today and I cannot believe how quickly time has passed. It truly seems like hours ago that she was placed on my chest and the warmth and heaviness of her body made her a reality to me for the first time. Dave and I were so happy before her but we are, miraculously, even happier with her. I had no idea what I was in for! I am so full of love for Padma and it's unfortunate that I cannot make words to express the gravity of it. Padma has forced me to reevaluate my estimation of the world. Before I had little faith left but now it's as if all of my childhood hope has returned in her.

It's only been two months and I have turned to Jello. What will the next two months bring?

After five long months...

... we finally had the upstairs carpeting installed! I uploaded the pics so Mom can see them, but I figure you'll enjoy them to Grandma!
